The Home MiniWoofer is an innovative audio product that provides an ideal accessory subwoofer for a TV audio system. It is designed to supplement existing 2.0 speakers systems in consumer electronics such as TV and other home audio systems. The product is smaller than most bookshelf speakers, light weight and low-power, but is still capability of providing good quality bass to about 40Hz. This is only possible due to the Home MiniWoofer use of Waves patented psychoacoustic bass speaker extension technology that uses the Phenomenon of the Missing Fundamental to deliver perceived bass response up to 1.5 octaves below the physical low frequency roll-off of the speaker.
The Home MiniWoofer is an active subwoofer system with 57Watt peak and about 30Watt rms power. The system support two line-level input options with RCA connectors. The subwoofer input uses a single RCA connector without a built-in crossover as the crossover would be provided by the TV or Shelf System. The system also support Left/Right line-level inputs with a fixed 100Hz crossover. With either input the subwoofer has automatic power up and shutdown so the system is fully automatic after connected. No additional remote control is needed.
This is an ideal sub accessory product for the TV and shelf systems in bedrooms, offices or smaller rooms where the user wants more bass, but doesn't the cost, additional connections or remotes associated with a small home theater system.
